Despite Lali's frail state, she is still on display to pilgrims. The source of Lali's weight loss needs to be better understood. Unless the feeding can be stablised under supervision, she risks becoming malnurished. Until she is scanned her internal anatomy can only be guessed at. It could be that fluids from one mouth are in danger of flooding her lungs, alternatively, fluids through the other could just be drip-feeding her stomach. |
