Less than 8 hours later, Lali's parents become desparate about their daughter's failing condition and they rush her back to hospital. A conflict has erupted amongst the family as a consequence of the delayed medical action. Had Lali been admitted two or three hours late, she would have died. For the first time, her father Vinod is ready to break family tradition. He is going to start making the decisions for his sick daughter. The strain affects other members of the family and Vinod's brother considers leaving the family home. |
