Ask the Expert – Dr Mark New
Dr Mark New is a University Lecturer in Climate and Water at the Oxford University Centre for the Environment (OUCE). He specialises in observed climate change, climate change prediction and climate impacts on water resources.
Mark is a contributing author to the IPCC 3rd and 4th Climate Change Assessments and Expert Reviewer for the IPCC 4th Assessment chapters on Africa and Water, and author of over 50 scientific articles on climate change and climate impacts.
Dr New is a member of the OUCE Climate Systems and Policy Research Cluster (see: www.ouce.ox.ac.uk/research/climate) and directs the MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management (see: www.ouce.ox.ac.uk/graduate/msc-wspm).
