  • Failure to drink enough water in hot and humid conditions can lead to dehydration and eventually heatstroke.


  • Sweat is unable to evaporate in humid conditions, tending to bead up and run off the body instead. This prevents it from performing its job of cooling the body. As a result the body sweats more but cools less.
