Rescue at last

The weather is so bad that it is some hours before Chris is able to summon help for Mike. Mike spends a second night inside the bubbling cauldron. He assumes that Chris is dead too, as he didn't hear his shouts from the top. Mike thinks it is only a matter of time, before he passes away too. On the third day, a rescue helicopter finds Mike, clinging to life and rim. All the crew survived, although the film that they shot that day didn't. They have all flown again since then, but not over Kilauea! |
