In addition, recognising how important it is for radio listening to get robust coverage in the home, our network will launch with an indoor reception reach of 80.5%. Our network will support next-generation mobile handheld devices to ensure that we can drive this high-growth opportunity to appeal to younger listeners. This is well ahead of regulatory requirements, and with more transmitters than each of the existing BBC and commercial national multiplexes. We want listeners to receive excellent reception across the country from the outset.
