Young Greens: Senator

Hannah was born and raised in Harlow, Essex. In 2011, she moved to Liverpool to study a BA in English and Politics at the University of Liverpool.

Hannah grew up in a household of Conservative voters, and until her early teens, had always thought she was a Conservative. It was when Natalie Bennett became Leader of the Greens in 2012 that Hannah officially joined the Greens.

Hannah was elected to the UK Youth Parliament at the age of 15 where she has tackled issues like public transport, political education and tuition fees.

Hannah has debated for the University of Liverpool at national and international competitions.

She feels passionately about re-nationalising the railways and changing the current electoral system – starting with the abolishment of the House of Lords.
