Two of the first people to enter the World Trade Center after the plane hit the South Tower, they are trapped in the rubble when it collapses.
Refusing to give up hope, they fight for survival while, in the outside world, their wives Donna and Allison (Maria Bello and Maggie Gyllenhaal) wait for news of their plight.
