In the first episode one bride is transformed into Alice in Wonderland, with the groom as the Mad Hatter, 31 dalmatians invade the Wedding House, Moulin Rouge theatricality takes hold, and a rushed groom threatens to call the whole thing off.
James and Sam have been together for two years and engaged for seven months. As a child Sam was fascinated by Alice in Wonderland, and now Wedding House enables her to live out a childhood dream of being transformed into Alice. James also throws himself into the day, willingly trussed up at the Mad Hatter. And so do the guests, with every single one dressed as a character from the Lewis Carroll classic.
Next in line to be wed are expectant parents Sen and Hus. Sen is four months pregnant and to add to the couple's big day nerves, Hus doesn't know if his Dad is coming.
In an altogether different affair, Lou and Phil are hoping for a ceremony suitable not only for them but their beloved dogs.
Lastly, amateur dramatics enthusiasts Barry and Delia have decided on a theatrical motif for their wedding, The pair have been engaged for three years, having met through their love of theatre at their local amateur dramatics group. Delia had a tumour in her hip last year, and this cemented their love and commitment to each other. And now they have chosen Wedding House to help them put on a ceremony inspired by the film Moulin Rouge.
And their guests are in for a treat as they have decided to put on a performance of 'Come what May' from the film itself. Can the groom keep his emotions in check as he serenades his bride to be?
