A liveaboard is an amazing way to get to dive sites that are too far away for day trippers. It means that you can get amazing sites with relative privacy and get completley immersed in diving life.
Alternative boating activity in the Maldives:
This isn't the sort of boat you'd normally want to base a holiday around, given that it's already at the bottom of the ocean. However, when this 35,000 tonne freighter sank in 1981 it created one of the Maldives' top dive sites, which is quite some feat.
