Seyi Rhodes was born in London and went to university in Bristol.
He has presented BBC Two's Explore series and various reports for More 4 News, as well as working behind the camera on documentaries for Channel 4's Dispatches and BBC Panorama.
Seyi also works on domestic and international stories for Current TV.
After spending periods of his childhood in West Africa, Seyi has returned to the region for work on a number of occasions, including documentaries about slavery in Senegal and religious and homophobic violence in Nigeria.
In 2009 his Unreported World report The Insanity of War, about Sierra Leone, won a MIND Mental Health Media Award for best short documentary.
