Writer, creator and co-producer Ronan Bennett is a critically-acclaimed novelist and screenwriter for film and television.
As well as writing The Hamburg Cell (Channel 4), Fields of Gold, Love Lies Bleeding and Rebel Heart, Ronan's films include Public Enemies, Lucky Break, and Face.
He is the co-author of Stolen Years: Before and After Guildford, the highly-praised account of Paul Hill's trial and imprisonment in the aftermath of the Guildford bombings. His first novel, The Second Prison, was shortlisted for the Irish Times/Aer Lingus First Fiction Award. His other novels include HAVOC in its Third Year, Overthrown by Strangers, and The Catastrophist, shortlisted for the Whitbread Novel Award.
