Field of Cloth of Gold Hunt
Julian Munby and Stewart Ainsworth search for the site of the temporary palace built by Henry VIII in 1520 at the Field of Cloth of Gold. Their search starts in Hampton Court Palace, moves to the British Library, and they end in Guines in Northern France.

Knole House
Helen Geake chats to Martin Stiles at the National Trust's Knole House in Kent about the scale of an entourage surrounding a travelling King in the Tudor period, and the operation of the service quarters in a big house during the visit of a King.

Acton Court
Henry VIII visited Acton Court in Gloucestershire in 1535. He stayed two nights. Lord Poynz built this entire wing for the visit. Rob Bell, an archaeologist who dug there, talks to Tony Robinson about the decorated interior, done in an Italianate style.
