Series Summary

Award-winning filmmaker Jane Treays spent 12 months with London's leading model agency, Models 1, following the fortunes of a disparate group of women in the world of fashion: the models Erin O'Connor, Ruth Crilly, Anna Donne and Daphne Selfe, the scout Ellis and the bookers Karen and Tori.

From the frantic lives of English models in New York commanding $100,000 fees for one job, to girls earning the agency bread and butter with catalogue work and their dreams of making it big, this series takes a closer look at the modelling minefield and tells the stories of the people negotiating it.
