Coverage of from the 2011 World Sheepdog Trials in Cumbria.
The four-day event involves a total of 26 nations and 240 of the world's greatest handlers and their dogs pitting their wits against some of Britain's finest sheep - the rugged 'North Country Mules.'
They are all competing for the ultimate prize: a gold shepherd's whistle and the much-coveted title of world champion.
Presented by Ellie Harrison and Guy Martin, the highlights of the opening heats will be broadcast with in-depth commentary from Barry Davies.
Cutting-edge graphics will demonstrate how the handlers and dogs are working together and this will be supported by in-depth analysis from animal behaviour and sheep dog experts.
Countries taking part this year include, all the home nations along with the USA, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Faroes, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and Finland - where dogs are used to round up reindeer on the tundra and - for the first time - Japan and Brazil.
