Using the voices of Londoners, archive and stunning aerial footage, The Odyssey aims to show why sport is essential, and how it both inspires and provides unforgettable moments of beauty and the sublime, helping us to forget the difficulties of everyday life.
The Odyssey is one of four short films co-commissioned by Film4 and BBC Films for the London 2012 Festival to showcase UK filmmaking talent.
