Series 1 Summary
For neurotic singer Johnny (Adam Buxton), Detox is his only chance to escape the misery of his job and see his talent realised. However, fellow band members Dan and Paul don't share Johnny's drive.
The band have eight hours in a recording studio. Johnny fights for perfection, and Karl - the producer - makes his own unique contribution to proceedings.
Dan devises a plan to seduce Liv and Johnny throws a party so he can make a move on Kirby. A day in a recording studio pushes their relationships to breaking point.
News of a Battle of the Bands contest could just give the group the opportunity they've been waiting for. If only people would get their name right...
As the band prepare for a photoshoot for the local paper, Johnny is convinced that Brian, their 40-something drummer, is not good for their image and should be asked to leave
