Martin Slattery and Antony Genn attended a Radiohead gig together in 2004, and were so blown away by the performance they decided to form their own band.
They went into the studio without a note of music written, and to their surprise, they started to come up with huge anthems. Slattery would play any instrument he could lay his hands on, while Genn joined him on guitar - sending out his bold, occasionally dark, words about life, death, love and all points in-between.
This culminated in the release of The Hours debut album, 'Narcissus Road', which was released in February 2007.
