The smiling face of the I.T. Department, Roy's spiky personality ensures he'll always be kept away from normal people as long as possible.

He's king of the basement, indulging his love of comic books, fast food, computer games and random arguments with his best friend, Moss.

Chris O'Dowd's biggest claim to fame is his collection of Yorkie wrappers - over 1000 at the last count. Outside of his passion for hearty chocolate bars, Chris has appeared in Mike Leigh's Vera Drake, Red Cap and the award-winning docu-drama, The Year London Blew Up.

Back home in Ireland, Chris also starred in two series of the RTE-produced drama The Clinic, as well as in the drama Showbands alongside Kerry Katona.

  5. THE IT CROWD IS SPECTACULAR . THE ONE HILARIOUS SCENE IN A WHEEL CHAIR WHEN HE KEEPS REPEATING.".I AM HANDICAPPED," WOULD CAUSE AN UPROAR IN USA. BUT ALAS THAT'S WHY I WATCH BBC AND RENT DISCS FROM LOCAL VIDEO STORE.. IS THERE ANOTHER SEASON? BRITFAN SARASOTA, FLORIDA USA.

  6. Hello from New Zealand! The IT Crowd is the place that I want to work in. It seems like I would fit in there some how... I do not want the show to end... it is too sad that it will. :( its kept me going throughout uni.

  7. Hi Chris! I'm from Russia! I have been working in the IT-department long time. Our work looks like as IT-Crowd as us very much. Your phrase "Have you tried turning it off and on again" It's phrase in our work. It's true. I tried to translate this phrase from English to Russian :). I'll be waiting next season. I hope on it ;).   10. awww i lovee chris o'dowd hes an amazing actor very good looking funny a great acttor i lovee him loads all mi friends say im obbcessed with him which i am ...... love the it crowd is brilll watch the box set alll the time love the episods tramps like us and friendsface love all of the episodes to be honist love moss hes so funny and jen and roy hope theres gunna be another series.............. i lovee CHRIS O'DOWD XXX I NEED TO MEET HIMMMM] WILL HE MARRY MEEE hehe ..... xxx i love chris o'dowd <3

  11. Chris O dowd and katherine Parkinson are in the film "the boat that rocked". personally i loved this movie with its brilliant cast but it didnt do too well in ratings here in ireland

  12. It sucks that this show was so short lived. I do not understand? It is one of the most brilliant comedies around. British comedy is great! We do not have good shows like this here in the States :-(

  14. Will this cast be in any future IT Crowd shows? I just discovered it and it has already ended. It's a funny and brilliant show. If no IT shows, what other projects can I see O'Dowd/Ayoade/Parkinson in? I live in Chico Ca. and don't have access to all their British work.
