Wayne is the General Manager of the Damson Dene Hotel. He was born in South Wales, into a working class family - his father was a coal miner and his mother a housewife.

Wayne has worked in the hotel industry since he was 19. He has a degree in Tourism and worked at several hotels in London, Nottingham, and South Wales before moving to the Lakes in 1998.

Wayne got his job at the Damson Dene in September, 2009. He lives in the caravan at the back of hotel garden with his border collie, Fly. When he is not pampering Fly, he is often seen at the local church singing in the Gospel Choir. He also loves running and often pairs up with head barman Paul to train for different marathons taking place locally.

Wayne is also very particular about oral hygiene and likes to brush his teeth at least 7 times a day. He loves animals and is often seen feeding the ducks and pigs outside his caravan.

Wayne's ultimate dream is to play Thenardier in Les Miserables and sing Master of the House on stage.
