  1. I think that issues brought on by self inflicted means such as obesity, drunkeness, drugs and the like should be given a two strike rule. In other words if you end up in hospital after a night out and smashed on booze or drugs or you have hurt yourself because you are drunk or drugged then you can get treated. The second time you ought to be just patched up adn after that, left to your own devices. Teenage pregnancy is avoidable and the 'mothers' know the benefits of having children and the 'fathers' run scared. Sometimes the baby is planned and the couple remain a family, but it is rare. Why should the NHS and every single hard working person have to pay for teenage excess? Why should needy cases have to take a back seat in A&E just because it is Friday/Saturday night and a couple of underage kids have had a few too many and got into a fight or walked out into the road and got hit by a car? The Hospital shows us what it is really like. Tells us the cost of this excessive behaviour and when experienced staff who are there to help these arrogant kids abuse them then it proves that there is a severe problem with society. What is it with all the attitude? What is it with all the aggression? Where has respect gone? Kids talk of respect to their friends but their respect is having an army of kids they have created or the number of asbos or the number of pints they drank before thieving a car and going for a spin. As a teen, I was a biker so yes I did drink and yes I did smoke and yes every Saturday night I used to go and have a big burger, a proper burger, from the local burger bar. After seeing serious injuries caused by drinking and riding their motorcycles (or car) I stopped. After a lack of money I stopped smoking. You do not have to enjoy life by drinking like a fish and chomping through a few pounds of fat for dinner! Even though my life style was a bit roudy, I never got into fights caused by alcohol and drugs then in the 80's were just Cannabis, mostly and I did not bring unwanted children into the world. What is it with parents who allow their kids to do these things? I strongly believe that re-offenders in the hospital ought to be given the short sharp shock of the 2 strike rule as this will be the only way to deal with it. Of course tobacco, alcohol, drug and food abuse are not just teens but older persons too. The older persons who smoke and end up in hospital with a heart attack come out adn start again! It is proof that if they all get the medical care after their self inflicted injuries then why bother to change? The NHS could be a well oiled slick health care provider if it were not for the stupid people who bring it all on themselves. As far as teen pregnancies go, well they too are self inflicted, becasue have they never heard of birth control? Perhaps it is ignorance that they do not need it? Perhaps the golden lure of a house and the benefits and the 'kudos' is more important? It is people like these that have helped to drag the NHS into the gutter and it is they who should pay the consequences, not the genuinely ill and needy!

  2. i think embarrassing illnesses is very helpful because it's us who should take responsibility on what we eat and eat the things that are right for us not simply filling yourself up with things like sugary foods.Imean you can but eat a balanced diet!!!
