Series 1 Summary

Welcome to the cool and crazy world of personal trainers at one of London's most extraordinary gyms. The gym is famed for its unique and inventive approach to getting a lean, mean body, with classes ranging from 'The Human Punch Bag' to 'Boobercise' and 'The Rave'. Nothing is off-limits in the pursuit of getting fit, as long as members are prepared for some serious sweat.

The series goes behind the scenes to follow a crack team of four personal trainers battling it out to transform the physiques of those in dire need of their help. Cameras document life inside the gym as the fitness-fanatic trainers kick their proteges into shape, while vying for more business and competing to get their latest, craziest workouts a prime slot on the coveted gym rotas.

    The series follows a crack team of four remarkable personal trainers, battling it out to transform the physiques of those in dire need of their help.

    The team of trainers take on new recruits each week - men and women who feel that this is their last chance to change their bodies for the better. Can these elite trainers, famous for sculpting A-List bodies, give their newest members the biggest physical makeover of their lives?

    If anyone can then it's these four super trainers: meet Matt Miller AKA 'Miller the Pillar'; Dan Corbett the ripped 'Bad Boy' trainer; trainer to the stars and founder of the 'Pussycat Doll workout' Tamaya Adams; and core conditioning expert 'Ms Red Hot' herself, Dahlia Mikneviciute.

    Stepping into the gym this time is former England rugby hopeful, Jack. After injury ended his career on the pitch, 22-year-old Jack ballooned to over 20 stone.

    The former student and Under-18s hopeful is desperate to shift the weight so he can get back on the rugby pitch for the first time in years.

    But when Jack suffers the very injury that ended his professional rugby dreams, will he quit or can Matt get him back on his feet by devising some typically fun exercises - `Boylesque' pole dancing anyone?

    Tamaya takes on gym-phobic Susan, whose confidence is so low that she only wears black, baggy men's clothes. A lifelong yoyo dieter, Susan seems to be the perfect client by dropping weight quickly. But can Tamaya teach Susan how to diet healthily?
