In the last episode of the series, the estate agents are invited to appear on a daytime talkshow. They are exposed as fraudulent when their previous female temp turns out to be a TV researcher, who has secretly filmed events in Embassy Properties.

During the show Jerry also reveals that he's been having an affair with Devlin's wife. Devlin pulls out a gun live on TV and threatens to kill himself - he pulls the trigger.

Back at the office England, Jerry and Tony discuss Devlin's suicide. But Devlin is not dead after all, he couldn't even get that right.
