These two films take a look at woman from different parts of the world and examine how they navigate their way through situations that are beyond the realm of experience for most people.
The experiences of a Russian mail order bride and how her status effects her relationship with her family forms the basis of the first film while the second offers an insight into the tangled and emotionally draining world of 'the other woman'.
