Having trained at RADA, Maxine appeared in a number of television and stage productions.
Her TV work has included Channel 4's Shameless, Victoria Wood's Dinnerladies, Craig Cash's Early Doors, and as Myra Hindley in ITV's See No Evil: The Moors Murders.
She has appeared on stage at the National Theatre for a number of performances including Trevor Nunn's The Cherry Orchard and Peter Gill's Luther.
