One of Britain's most successful TV actors, John Simm has led a number of critically acclaimed TV dramas, his most notable role being Sam Tyler in the BBC detective series Life on Mars.
John has starred in ITV's Cracker, the BBC series Clocking Off, The Lakes, State of Play, Channel 4's BAFTA-winning drama Sex Traffic. Most recently, he played The Master in the BBC's Doctor Who.
His work in film includes roles in 24 Hour Party People, Human Traffic and Michael Winterbottom's Wonderland.
