Creating the Crippendales proves a hugely challenging journey for Lee Kemp. First he needs to recruit four disabled men willing to bare all. Next there is the problem of learning a sexy dance routine - pretty tough when you can't use your legs, you've had polio, your spine has been smashed by a car bomb or you suffer from skeletal dysmorphism.
Including a former Levi's model, and the runner-up to the Sexiest Man in Yorkshire competition, the Crippendales gather together to be put through their paces by UK's top teacher of striptease. But a crisis looms when a key member pulls out a day before their first gig - a crowd of 200 baying women on a hen night at The Adonis Club in Brighton.
The Crippendales premiered at the Sheffield International documentary Festival in 2006 to rave reviews, and won Best International Documentary at the New York Independent Film festival.
