Series 4 Summary
The fourth series of the animated US comedy sees the Brown family getting into trouble on Halloween and Cleveland hooking up with his old acquaintance Kenny West.
Episode 1 - Escape from Goochland
Cleveland and his friends visit Goochland for the annual football game against their high-school rivals. However, an accident with a car leaves them scrambling to find an escape route from their old enemies' home turf.
Meanwhile, Donna wears a sexy Halloween costume that gets her into trouble with the police, and Roberta and Cleveland Jr play pranks around Stoolbend dressed as their parents.
Episode 2 - Menace II Secret Society
Cleveland is sent to install a new cable TV for rapper Kenny West (guest voice Kanye West), who is now rich and famous.
Having spotted all of Kenny's music awards, Cleveland confronts him about not sharing the credit for the huge hit they wrote together.
However, he soon discovers that Kenny is involved in a powerful and secret hip-hop society, along with famous guest voices Will.i.am, QuestLove, Bruno Mars and Nicki Minaj.
Meanwhile, Cleveland Jr is rejected by the school's marching band, so he teams up with the other unwanted candidates to start a polka band instead.
Episode 3 - A General Thanksgiving
Holt reveals that he won't be spending Thanksgiving with his estranged family, so he joins Cleveland and the rest of the gang as they work on opening a new bar at the airport.
Given the job of looking after Rallo, Holt quickly realises that babysitting provides an easy way to meet attractive women.
Meanwhile, Cleveland gets into a dangerous situation when he boards an aeroplane and a rescue must be organised.
Episode 4 - Turkey Pot Die
Rallo and Donna build a turkey-themed float for the Stoolbend Thanksgiving Day Parade, but when Donna fails to embrace her son's artistic vision for the project, Rallo takes matters into his own hands.
Cleveland is disappointed when he takes Cleveland Jr to a turkey farm to hunt the family's Thanksgiving dinner and his son won't shoot the birds.
However, an accident with a shotgun convinces Cleveland that Junior may have been right all along.
Episode 5 - A Vas Deferens Between Men and Women
When Donna reveals that she wants another baby, Cleveland realises he must keep the vasectomy he had six months earlier during a night of drinking secret from her.
But when Donna finds out that Cleveland's been lying to her, she pretends she's pregnant to get her own back.
Meanwhile, to Roberta's annoyance, Rallo lands the lead role in a community theatre production of the musical Annie.
Episode 6 - 'Tis the Cleveland to Be Sorry
When Roberta is hired to work as a Christmas elf at a local department store, she discovers that her chauvinistic employer requires her and Santa's other female helpers to wear sexy costumes.
Donna insists that the family must learn to think of others by helping out at the local homeless shelter during the festive season.
Cleveland discovers that the food they serve to the homeless is much better than what he gets at home, so he pretends to be a down-and-out in order to be fed at the shelter.
Episode 7 - Hustle 'n' Bros
At Freight Train's birthday party, Cleveland's present for his father is upstaged by a lavish gift from Robert, Donna's ex-husband.
When Freight Train officially adopts Robert, Cleveland must learn to get along with his new sibling.
In order to pay off a debt that they owe to Donna, Rallo and Cleveland Jr become 'dog bounty hunters', collecting financial rewards by returning lost canines to their owners.
Episode 8 - The Wide World of The Cleveland Show
The adventures of the Brown-Tubbs family's various incarnations in different countries all over the world are explored.
In Mexico, Cleveland is uncomfortable with Junior's unconventional choice of birthday celebration.
The Italian version of the show features a Mob-style parody in which Cleveland must choose either Rallo or Junior as his successor.
In Japan, Cleveland builds a robot version of himself to attend Junior's competitive eating contest when he has to work late at the office.
Episode 9 - Here Comes the Bribe
Donna wants to renew her wedding vows with Cleveland, but when he ruins the ceremony by writing a set of vows that are a touch too honest, she drags him to marriage guidance counselling.
However, the counsellor has a proposition for Cleveland that could make his experience at the sessions a lot more positive.
Junior's beloved fridge breaks down, so Rallo refurbishes it as a hotel-style mini-bar so that he can generate some extra income from his brother.
Episode 10 - When a Man (or a Freight Train) Loves His Cookie
When Freight Train misses his wedding anniversary party, Cookie is so upset that she leaves him to go on the road with George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars.
At first, Freight Train pretends not to care, but Cleveland convinces him that he must track Cookie down and do his utmost to win her back.
Rallo and Cleveland Junior visit an office supply shop, where Junior gets a kick out of posing as an insurance executive in a display of office furniture.
Episode 11 - Brownsized
Cleveland accepts an offer from his boss to quit his job with six months of severance pay, but struggles to find a way to tell Donna what he's done.
Meanwhile, Rallo finds a handsome and charming man for Roberta after Federline forgets their anniversary.
Episode 12 - Pins, Spins and Fins...
When Rallo believes he's a brilliant bowler because he can score strikes when the guard rails are up, Donna has to deliver a cold hard truth: little kids mostly suck at everything.
Meanwhile, Cleveland, Lester, Holt and Terry decide that their friendship has become too predictable, and attempt to spice things up by taking a road trip to an abandoned theme park.
Episode 13 - A Rodent Like This
When Donna discovers that there's a rat in the house, she moves herself and the children over to her mother's place, leaving Cleveland behind to hunt down the rodent.
However, Cleveland enjoys having the house to himself and, rather than killing the intruder, soon bonds with his new 'pet'.
Rallo and Cleveland Junior pretend they are spies, but things get out of hand when Junior refuses to reveal what he keeps in his secret briefcase.
Episode 14 - The Hangover: Part Tubbs
Donna decides to run for a place on the school board, and attempts to keep Cleveland away from her campaign in case he embarrasses her, but her plans soon backfire.
Junior discovers that he is naturally gifted as a diver, but his ambition to succeed in the sport is threatened when he is too frightened to wear the school diving team's uniform of tiny swimming trunks.
Episode 15 - California Dreamin'
The Brown family pack their bags and move to Los Angeles, where Cleveland pursues his life-long dream of becoming a Major League Baseball scout.
Donna launches a career as a children's entertainer and the kids soon settle into the LA lifestyle, but Cleveland finds that his high-powered new job isn't all it's cracked up to be.
When he befriends struggling actress Gina (guest voice Krysten Ritter), she helps him to realise that Hollywood isn't as glamorous as it seems.
Episode 16 - Who Done Did It?
When Arianna the Bear gets into a quarrel with Donna at a silent auction, Cleveland defends his wife's honour by throwing eggs at Arianna's house.
Encouraged by Donna, Cleveland does the same to all those who have offended his family, but things get out of hand and he finds himself accused of a murder he didn't commit.
Episode 17 - Fist and the Furious
When Cleveland discovers that Dr Fist doesn't have any friends, he feels so sorry for him that he begins to socialise with him.
However, a well-meaning attempt to get in touch with Dr Fist's old acquaintances reveals a potentially life-threatening secret: the medic used to work for the Mob.
Junior and Rallo open a mobile catering business at school, but their money-making plans are thwarted by the arrival of serious competition.
Episode 18 - Squirt's Honor
Donna forces a reluctant Rallo to join the Freedom Squirts, Stoolbend's version of the Boy Scouts, where he soon spots an opportunity to make some extra money by selling sweets.
Cleveland and Donna win a romantic hotel break in a raffle, but find themselves obliged to work off their bill when they accidentally charge too many incidental expenses to their room.
Episode 19 - Grave Danger
Rallo goes to stay with Robert for the weekend at his flat in East Stoolbend, but he's forced to make friends with some tough kids in the neighbourhood when Robert abandons him to go on a trip to Baltimore.
Meanwhile, Cleveland and his friends start to hang out at Stoolbend Cemetery and soon discover the peaceful joys of this beautiful location.
Episode 20 - Of Lice and Men
After an outbreak of headlice at school, Rallo is forced to cut off his beloved Afro, but when his classmates make fun of him, Cleveland Junior steps in to look after his little brother.
Freight Train and Cookie leave Cleveland to house-sit when they go away for the weekend, but things go badly wrong when all of Cleveland's friends drop by to see him.
Episode 21 - Mr. & Mrs. Brown
When Cleveland takes his mother, Cookie, on a visit to a local retirement community, they are mistaken for husband and wife and start to spend time with other members of the Silver Sunset Society, leaving Donna with her nose out of joint.
Meanwhile, Rallo steals a chocolate bar from a vendor in the park, but tries to pin the blame on Cleveland Junior when his actions catch up with him.
Episode 22 - Crazy Train
When Freight Train invites Cleveland to a low-rider vehicle convention, his unexpected show of amiability makes Donna think he might be having a mental breakdown, until Dr Fist is able to give a more accurate diagnosis.
Rallo and Cleveland Junior temporarily remove a broken cherry-picker from a building site and use it to carry out good deeds in the neighbourhood.
Episode 23 - Wheel! Of! Family!
Roberta, Cleveland Junior and Rallo's hectic schedules leave Cleveland and Donna exhausted as they constantly ferry their offspring to and from various appointments and activities.
They decide to enlist other family members to help, but a complication arises when Robert and Dee Dee decide to get to know each other better.
Freight Train takes Cleveland Junior to the local YMCA, where Junior discovers hidden athletic talents during a pole dancing class.
