The dream of Serbian fishermen Dragan and Ivan Rat is to land a large caviar-filled sturgeon and earn enough money to leave for Las Vegas.
Instead, their hooks are empty and their lives are punctuated by drinking, bingo and legal arguments with rival fishermen about fishing rights.
Director Dragan Nikolic captures the bickering love-hate relationship between the two brothers who, despite their constant setbacks, remain optimistic. That is, until the European Union impose a fishing ban that leads to a major change in their lives...
