Series Summary
The Bodyguard puts 12 ordinary members of the public through one of the most rigorous training programmes in the world.
The trainees are put through a series of gruelling tasks designed to not only the weed out the weak and inappropriate, but also to simulate real-life scenarios, where a bad decision could cost a bodyguard more than their job.
The painstaking programme of tests include a hair-raising kidnapping situation as well as close-quarter combat techniques and lessons in the kind of evasive driving that includes ramming other vehicles.
