Series Summary
Intriguing prehistoric mysteries are investigated by presenter Lucy Taylor and her team of experts. Paleobiologist Dr Sarah Gabbott, rock expert Prof John Howell and dinosaur authority Dr Dave Martill search for the clues they need to construct and either prove or disprove theories in just 48 hours.
During the series, the four fossil-hunters travel to Spain and around the UK, including Hastings, Sussex, Peterborough, Isle of Wight and the Cotswolds to examine mysterious mounds of mud, fossils, the remains of an iguanodon, a plant-eating dinosaur from the Cretaceous period, 155-million-year-old Jurassic clay and giant fishes.
