Each week, resident gastronomic guru Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall must defend his cooking credentials as he is challenged by a different guest captain - each a famous food personality - to establish who knows the most about food.

In each episode Hugh and his rival team leader are flanked by celebrity guests with a passion for food and an eye on victory. Featuring quick-fire questions, blind tastings, physical rounds, surprising food facts and many other challenges, The Big Food Fight is a nourishing snack for all connoisseurs of the comestible, covering everything from cooking to shopping, and growing to eating.
