Howard may well be yet another physicist - sorry, make that engineer - from CalTech, but he's got another trick up his sleeve - he's a master of no less than six languages and regular utilises them in a lame attempt to woo women.
He's the best friend of Raj and, amongst other things, gets quite excited at the prospect of a Stephen Hawking lecture from 1974, going on online game quests with his tiger Buttons, and whooping Leonard's ass on a virtual (naturally!) dance mat.
Although extremely intelligent and a bit of a one with a wisecrack, Howard tends to get out-geeked by Sheldon, but he takes it well. Bless him.
