About the Show
Post-apocalyptic US drama in which 100 juvenile prisoners are exiled from their dying 'Ark' in space and sent back to Earth in the hope that they can repopulate the planet
Series 1 Summary
The first series of the post-apocalyptic US drama, set 97 years after a nuclear Armageddon destroyed all civilisation on Earth.
The only survivors were the 400 inhabitants of 12 international space stations that were lucky enough to be in orbit at the time.
Since then, three generations have been born in space and the population has swelled to thousands on the 'Ark', the dozen stations now linked together and repurposed to keep the survivors alive.
Life on the Ark is hard. Population is tightly controlled, resources are severely rationed and all crimes, no matter how petty, are punishable by death - unless you're under 18.

Episode 2 - Earth Skills
Having discovered Jasper may still be alive, Clarke leads a rescue party on a mission to locate him, but the group are shocked at what they find.
Back on the Ark, Abby is determined to get down to the Earth's surface, so she enlists Raven to craft an escape pod.
Episode 3 - Earth Kills
In an attempt to treat Jasper's infected wounds, Clarke, Finn and Wells set out in search of a seaweed-like plant to make an antibiotic poultice.

A thick, acidic fog suddenly appears, forcing everyone to take shelter in a hurry, and Clarke confronts Wells about her father's death.
Episode 4 - Murphy's Law
After the shocking death of one of their own, Clarke and Finn grow closer as they try to figure out a way to communicate with the Ark.
Bellamy must keep the group from turning on one another as life on Earth takes a desperate turn.
Abby risks having herself floated in order to give Raven the chance to stow-away in the escape pod bound for Earth.
Episode 5 - Twilight's Last Gleaming
Clarke's fledgling romance with Finn is threatened by a new arrival. After being knocked out in a fall, Octavia wakes up to find that a Grounder is watching her.
On the Ark, Abby exposes Kane's plan to reduce the population, but when she and Chancellor Jaha notice a signal, they realise that at least some of the 100 must still be alive on Earth.
Episode 6 - His Sister's Keeper
Bellamy leads his crew into Grounder territory as they search for Octavia in the forest. Raven can't help but notice the deep connection between Finn and Clarke.
Flashbacks reveal the history of Bellamy and Octavia's difficult and dangerous childhood on board the Ark.

Back on the Ark, Abby is removed from the council, and former Chancellor Diana Sydney takes her place.
Jaha reveals there are not enough drop ships for everyone on the Ark to go down to Earth. Kane deals with his guilt about his recent decisions.
Episode 8 - Day Trip
Clarke and Bellamy find out there may be a hidden stash of supplies that could help the group to survive the winter. They go on a mission to locate it and are brought closer together by a terrifying experience.
When some of the 100 accidentally eat nuts with hallucinogenic properties, Octavia takes advantage of the ensuing chaos.
