Watch this episode now on 4oD Jenette

In the feeding clinic are two women at opposite ends of the weight spectrum but with one thing in common: they both want to look wonderful in their wedding dresses.

Wafer-thin Jenette Nolan from Lancashire refuses to marry her husband until she can fill her wedding dress but she's got a long way to go. Weighing just 6 stone 8lbs, she's two stone underweight. Meanwhile, Rosemarie Palmer, who lives on the Isle of Man, is hoping that a week's food swap will kick start her weight-loss plan to get from over 21 stone to a size 14 in time for her summer wedding.

Anna Richardson looks into the dark world of extreme dieting. She meets Lisa Bond who became partially blind by taking the radical decision to stop taking insulin in order to lose weight. She also talks to ex- Big Brother housemate Nikki Grahame about the extremes she has gone to in order to stay thin.

And when it comes to reducing the size of the nation's rears, Gillian McKeith is cleaning up the act of a group of Brummie bottoms with a device that promises to vacuum away the fat.

  1. I watch alll the epicodes of supersize, i like to see who's on the show, what ways i can get my body into shape. I have a lot of people in my family who very over weight and i hate to see them like this. I don't like that way i look..if i could change anythink on my body i would change...the size of my thise, tummy(tuck), love handells and bingo wings. All my friends say at school that im really skinny but i dont think i am...it's been reallt hard for me over that past two years so i think thats why i eat and snake a bit because im upset. Their are lots of girls in my school who just dont look normal at all coz their just so skinny...i wish why can't i be so skinny? But i think over all watching this show..you have to be a size zero to look good or get boys (: enjoy your figer (: x

  2. this is an interresting show...however, just focusing on the food might not be the best aspect. Every time I watch this show I think I should be on there. I go between 105 and 120 lbs and Im 5'8". Im also a dancer and I have to be thin as part of my work, but lets not forget that is because the public demands it! I wish that you might encourage a bit of exercise as well. I know I have a bad diet but I would like to see someone not only eat what I do but do the exercise I do and survive a week. I go to the gym 2-3 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week and eat 1 meal a day depending on if my husband is home or not. I tend to eat less when I dont have to cook for him. I always see your add on starnow for people who want to take part, the only thing that horrifies me is that I would have to eat all that stuff! But I think I could bring a differnt element to your show. Having suffered with severe eating disorders as a child due to dance I know I still have all the tendencies. Sadly, I hate to say I am more on a liquid diet ( I love my wine) but having recently done a job where that was not present and I lost 1 stone 6 in 3 months. I would love to hear from you as ...yes Im sure there is a better and more healthy way to live. I want to stay slim but healthy enough if I ever want a baby. This wasnt possible in the past due to my weight. Now Im afraid that low bone density and the effects of alchol and poor eating I will never be able to have a healthy baby. I might not be the thinnist person you have had on the show in comparison, but I think you need to explore tough to handle cases! Regards....

  4. Exelent program, I'm from chile, I found some clips of "Supersize vs Superskinny" on youtube watching some Lily Allen videos, (pretty crazy, I know) and I think this is one of the best programs I ever see, cause I have some problems with food. Wish I could live in England to watch it, 'cause here, probably that's not gonna happen, so.. congratulations. :) Francisca.
