Supersize Vs Superskinny resident doctor, Dr Christian Jessen was born and lives in London.
He studied medicine as an undergraduate at University College London, receiving his MB and BS degrees in 2000. He also holds an MSc degree in sexual health and worked in Kenya and Uganda for two years where his focus was on HIV and Malaria.
Chris has also worked on the long-running Channel 4 series Embarrassing Bodies, and The Ugly Face of Beauty.
He also works as a writer and columnist, and is a GP in two clinics in London.
What you might not know is that Dr Chris has an interest in antique bronzes.He took his passion to the limit in 2010, winning a celebrity edition of the quiz show 'Antiques Master' with this as his specialist subject.
