This week the new arrivals go to separate islands. Evangelical Christian Doug and gay, media salesman Dan become leaders on Shark Island and Tiger Island respectively.

As the Sharks question Doug about the significance of his silver ring, it becomes clear that Nadejah is no longer the only virgin on the island. And the Sharks don't think she is pulling her weight - can Doug help with his island law, getting the Sharks to build a sacred circle?

Meanwhile, on Tiger Island, new arrival Dan is keen to kill a chicken, which upsets Silkie, but the islanders have to kill and eat a chicken to get vital protein into their diets.

When the time comes for Dan and Doug to switch islands, Sharks Mark and Mackenzie speculate about a romance between Dan and Xanthi. Dan confesses to a little bit of a crush, but Xanthi insists Dan is not his type.

At the beach party, the new arrivals must reach a joint decision about which tribe to live with, but can they see eye to eye?
