Tristan Tate is a 23-year-old professional kickboxer from Luton. He's single.
Despite kicking people for a living, Tristan considers himself to be the 'intellectual superior of 99.9% of the people that he meets.' Impressive, considering he was educated in 'one of the worst high schools in the UK' (according to Tristan).
Tristan was a straight A student but chose not to go to Uni as he wanted to focus on his kickboxing instead. He was raised in a tough environment - often copying passages out of encyclopaedias instead of watching telly, and made to do hundreds of sit-ups and push-ups as punishments for naughtiness. He's not bitter about it though; he says it's made him the man he is today.
T.T likes the ladies, and goes to clubs to meet people, but he's not really the partying type. And Tristan's views of women are, erm, a little pre-historic. 'Women should be useful', he says, 'cooking and cleaning, etc'.
Incredibly keen to win Shipwrecked, Tristan says he's prepared to lie, cheat and deceive other islanders for his own personal gain. His strategy is 'divide and conquer - find divisions in people and exploit them.' Crikey. Did we mention he's single?
