It's week six and luuuurve is in the air...
It's new arrival time! Firstly we met feisty Scotswoman Lois, and down-to-earth Markus who, to reflect the lack of luxuries in his past, has decided not to bring a luxury item to Shipwrecked. Impressive.
Have you seen Sonny's blog? He describes Markus as 'like me, but northern'!
Lois and Markus were all about fun, and arranged a talent contest for the Tigers. Highlights included Liam getting painted green like the Hulk and Hollie belting out an amazing bit of opera that left the Tigers stunned.
After that it was time for a sneaky game of matchmaking. The next day the gossip-o-meter was off the chart when Hermione and Tom woke up intertwined on the back beach... Wit-woo! The new arrivals' sneaky plan to create romance worked (Muhahahaha! *Taps fingertips together like evil genius*) and they were soon off to Shark island.
Across the lagoon all the drama was coming from Greg, who was weighing up whether or not he'd made the right decision by coming back. He definitely has chemistry with Maz but she's holding back until she's sure he's staying with Sharks, leaving them both in limbo. Argh! Come on guys, get it together!
Lois and Markus then declared a night of 'adult games', starting with a pole dance competition (naughty), followed by mouth-to-mouth carrot passing (smoochy) and finally a round of "Guess the Bum" (cheeky). Then, *shock* even more hooking up! Soodi woke up the entangled with Markus.
Don't miss the Shark blog, this week written by the island's best haircut, Mark.
At the beach party Hermione tried to lure Greg back to Tigers by playing down her tryst with Tom but in the end he was having none of it and stayed put. The new arrivals however, were torn... but ended up becoming fully fledged Sharks!
But wait! Don’t you dare close that browser, because that's not the end of it... In a twist, the Sharks were only allowed to accept ONE new arrival. They chose Lois, sending Markus back towards Tigers and away from Soodi. But wait! There's blummin' more! Soodi, not wanting to be parted from Markus, nominated herself and in an instant became a Tiger for the very first time.
It was a split-second decision, but is it a good one? Only time will tell...
If you've still not had enough, don’t forget to check out our gallery or Dan's Hutcam Diary [hyperlink to Dan’s hutcam diary] where he reveals all about Shark tensions, fancying Xanthi and even contemplating nominating himself!
So much gossip I can't take any more!
See you next week x
PS - Very quiet on the pig front this week. I'm getting the feeling that they might see out the series alive. Fingers crossed!
