Shipwrecked

It's week 14 in Shipwrecked and everyone's getting fiercely loyal...

It's the penultimate week on Shipwrecked and last week's beach party has turned the game on its head. With Tiger Liam now banished to Sharks and Shark Dan banished to Tigers, neither were going to abandon their loyalties in a hurry.

Liam was the first to mess with his host tribe, by refusing to get involved in any activities. He'd just sit... on the beach... on his own... looking at Tiger island. New arrival Geri was thoroughly unimpressed, and thought Liam was disrespecting both her and the Sharks. Not a good first impression of Tiger behaviour then.

Check out Hermione's Tiger blog for her thoughts on becoming a 'serving wench' last week. Tom's in the doghouse again! Lois, however, is getting all introspective in her Shark blog. She's going to miss Dan big time. Awww...

Speaking of Dan, he was rocking the boat on Tigers in a much more fun way, by calling a meeting to discuss their most divisive issue... killing the pigs. A huge argument blew up, with the tribe split between those who wanted to eat the little porker and those who wanted to save his bacon. Even Dan admitted he didn't expect to cause THAT much of a row. Mission accomplished.

After a brilliant time on Sharks, Geri was soon switching to Tigers. However, it didn't go quite as smoothly. The lazy Tigers abandoned their guest and all went to bed early, foolishly leaving Geri to talk to the mischievous Dan. He'd made it his mission to talk up the Sharks as much as possible, and this was prime time to do it. (Honestly, that man's so crafty he should be a spy.) The next day Geri was in tears, admitting that she was not enjoying her time on Tiger Island. Realising they'd let their guard down, the Tigers called an emergency meeting. Changes had to be made.

In a real turnaround, they decided not to kill Rodger the pig, and instead would build Geri a theatre for the evening's big entertainment... another legendary Tiger dance-off. But would it be enough?

The next day it was time for the beach party. The Sharks put on a good show, opening with a specially choreographed dance and rap extravaganza that saw Norfolk boy Kevin spittin' dem rhymes. Then it was decision time. Geri was going to become... a SHARK! The Tigers were kicking themselves for letting this one get away. But it was about to get worse, as Geri then used her power to steal a tribe member... she chose Hermione.

The decision sent shockwaves through the Tigers. Can they cope without such a vital team member?

The Sharks had to sacrifice a tribe member in return... Lois, Doug, MacKenzie and Andrew put themselves forward, but it was Doug who was chosen to go, adamant that he'd still be a Shark, no matter what necklace he wore.

And that was that: 15 tribe members each - the final week.

Let battle commence.
