Tiger girls play bored games

Tuesday 14 April 2009

It's week eleven in Shipwrecked and it's all getting a bit meaty...

From the moment she stepped on the sand, new arrival Sasha was a wanted woman as you can read in her blog.

The first fella to chat her up was Sonny. His chat-up line "Did it hurt?... When you fell from heaven" was met with groans all round, and even Sasha described it as 'pretty cringey'. "It's not easy being this cheesy" was his reply. Yes, I imagine it is quite a struggle.

While the boys wanted to snog her, it was the girls who wanted her to be their mate, as you can see in Soodi's blog. New BFFs? Maybe!

Over on Sharks, Andrew was unhappy and decided to raise it at lunch. The reaction came like a tidal wave, as the rest of the Sharks decided it was HIS attitude that was the problem. Feeling worse than ever, Andrew retreated to lick his wounds. Unpleasant for everyone, Andrew's issue with communication could be one of the biggest learning curves of the series...

If you're brave enough to read Nadejah's take on the spat, check out her Shark blog.

Over on Tigers, Sasha was becoming part of the family and lots of flirting was happening with the dashing Jack (does he remind anyone else of Mr Darcy?) but soon it was time to go to Sharks. Sasha cried as she left. Surely she was a Tiger by now... right?

OMG! A PIG DIED! It was Winston! The Tigers ate him. I can't really talk about it right now (Seriously, I'm about to drop a tear... *Sniff*) but you can see more in this week's bonus video.

Over on Sharks, Greg and Maz had a fake wedding ceremony (yes, it was bonkers) and Sasha was given an opportunity to speed date the islanders to get to know them. That's where she met Adam and they really hit it off. LOTS of flirting. Erm... Jack who? Had she forgotten him already?

Then, TRAGEDY STRUCK. During a game of 'chase the coconut' MacKenzie took a tumble and landed on a rock. "Medic!" shouted Andrew, and boy did he need one. With a gruesome knee wound, he was stretchered off the beach and away to hospital. Will he ever be able to return? Find out next week...

Meanwhile, Hermione and Tom... true love? Possibly. Check out this vid and have a see for yourself! Finally it was the beach party where a tearful Sasha had to make her decision... Sharks or Tigers... Jack or Adam... Finally, she chose SHARKS! But then came the shocking twist. To take a place on Shark island, she'd need to eject someone over to Tigers. Doug, Bene and Adam volunteered themselves, but Sasha demanded Adam stayed, finally admitting that he was a major reason for her choosing the island.

Eventually she chose Bene, and it was Nadejah's turn to cry as she said goodbye to one of her good friends.

That was the end, right? WRONG. To the surprise of many, Hollie nominated to switch islands! Cabin fever was her reason, and she said she'd leave for one week and one week only. But should the Sharks accept her? The camp was split. Greg believed her. Nadejah called her a fake. In the end, they accepted her but will the decision come back to haunt them? Next week will reveal all...

Need more? That's what the hot new gallery is for! Ch-ch-ch-check it oout!
