Carl Gallagher, the fourth child of Frank and Monica Gallagher, has become quite the lothario of late.
He once appeared to have something of a crush on Monica's lesbian lover Norma, and has slept with Meena Karib. Another notable conquest was the mother of a girl he was seeing in his last year of school.
Carl's relationship with Maxine, an auxiliary nurse who quickly became besotted by his charms in Series 6, was true. But alas it was not meant to be, and Maxine fell in love with Ian in Series 7 - a situation which brought the Gallagher brothers to blows.
Romance is still very much on the cards for Carl in Series 8 in the form of Chesney's cousin - but his usual pulling techniques aren't working...
