One half of possibly the most unlikely pairing the estate has ever seen, Billy Tutton is married to Mimi, and together they have baby Cilla.
It was a rocky start for these star-crossed lovers. Spending special time together after meeting through The Jockeys football team, it came as a bit of a surprise for Mimi when she passed Billy in his school uniform one day and discovered he was 14 years old.
Despite her heated insistence (threats to murder) that he should keep his distance, Billy refused to accept it. She tried everything, from confiding in Carl Gallagher when he discovered their affair, to spreading rumours that Billy was a paedophile and finally turning a loaded gun at him.
With blanks in the gun, Mimi and Billy were left unharmed, though Billy disappeared, certain hed killed Mimi.
It was a few years later when Billy returned to the estate, certain that Mimis baby, Cilla, was his. Mimi had no choice but to eventually accept his demands, and his undying love.
Steroids, bravado and intimidation from step-sons Jamie, Micky and Shane all help young Billy to be the unlikely Maguire patriarch that he's required to be.
But his softer side and endearing stupidity mean hell never quite fit in.
