  1. Why fix something that isn't broken. Although the new format is just about watchable so I get my Scrapheap fix, you set the standard Channel 4 with the excellent presenters, the beautiful Lisa Rogers and the eccentric Robert Llewellyn. They gave a rare blend of knowledge and wit and are sadly missed. Also with the new format there is too much competing and not enough creation, which is really what us "oily hands" tune in for. Please change it back and keep us loyal followers.

  2. I agree with most people on here - why have they changed the format - is it because now the presenters cost less? I don't like the new format, it really has taken the fun and competition out of the show! Bring back the old format....please!

  3. Great show, this was the best episode yet, those Trekies certainly made a bang, what a great team, looking forward to seeing them in the final. Dicks diamonds did well too but just didn't have the power. There was some good entertainment value to the trekies, what with thier roudy group and all in uniform, not to mention the young lad jumping on the roof in victory, and the littly bit of nudity from the army guy, very entertaining indeed.

  4. Channel 4, OH dear OH dear OH dear. What have you done to our wonderfull scrapheap. Perhaps if all the contestants were as entertaining as the Trekies, then maybe it would work. But sadly no it doesn't. How come the third team never made it to the event, surely transportation of the build was down to channel 4 not the competitors. If not then the ?450 budjet would have been blown in one go. Sounds VERY VERY cheap to me.

  5. Since this series started I have been very dissapointed. the new format is not good, and the teams seem to be very boring. The Trekies are the best ones yet, that actually have a bit of entertainment value, it might be enough to watch the nnext episode, or I might just skip to the final when I can watch them again.

  6. What a great team the Trekies were, I think they should swap places with the Diamonds. Cant wait to see them in the grand final, wonder what they will be blowing up then.

  7. Hello - As a family we have watched Scapheap Challenge from the beginning. Although there was an early change of presenters Lisa Rogers and Robert Llewellyn have presented most of the shows. There was also a change of format but after a short time it returned to the tried and trusted formula. We awaited the new series with anticipation. Although Dick Strawbridge has undoubted abilities we do not like the new show or how it is presented. Are Lisa and Robert going to be back or are they consigned to the repeat circuit for all time. Also why do Dick's Diamonds always have to be in the final. Unless its an ego trip surely they should compete to show they deserve their place in the final - after all healthy competition is good for the soul. Donnie
