  1. This really is an absolutely awful change of format! It's not the same programme at all. Everything that made Scrapheap Challenge what it was - and it was one of my favourite programmes - has been stripped away. No scrapheap. And no challenge! And, hard though Strawbridge tries, he just hasn't got the charisma or the enthusiasm that the previous presenters had. Very disappointing. Another viewer lost, I'm afraid.

  2. I turned on Scapheap Challenge recently hoping to see the Gorgeous Lisa Rogers and the witty Robert Llewelyn but instead was faced with Dick Strawbridge. I watched it anyway to give him a fair chance but the format and presenter just isn't right. I'll never watch it again. BRING BACK LISA ROGERS AND ROBERT LLEWELYN! PLEASE!!!!

  3. Repetitive, boring and an insult to the scrapheap name. The old format was far better as the teams had to compete for oiley bits from the same scrapheap and the fact they can now buy new parts defeats the point of the programme and contradicts the name 'scrapheap challenge'. The competition seemed unfair as the Strawbridge team built a ropey machine but still won as they didn't have to compete in the earlier rounds - every other machine in the competition covered a longer distance than they did but still lost.... Also, why would I want to look at some dull ginger bloke sidekick when I could be looking at Lisa Rogers?... I must have watched nearly every scrapheap challenge in the past but I'm afraid you've lost me already with this series. Please drop this ridiculous format and return to what has worked for years.

  4. What an absolute tragedy! my once favourite programme has been ruined : ( I think the comments from episode one pretty much sum up my thoughts: embarrassing presenters, confusing new format, too many teams, not enough scrap, no Lisa Rogers, no Robert Llewellyn...the list goes on. I like change, but not for the worse!....unfortunately for me I won't be watching this anymore.

  6. Why? Why have you changed the format so much? Ive tried to watch it, but without the scrapheap, and the short time limit it has become a "who can find/afford the best bits" programme. Normally I wouldnt be playing on a computer when Scrapheap is on. Now the TV is off and I wont be bothering to watch Scrapheap again It wasnt broken Why did you attempt to "fix " it?

  7. A general comment ,I love the show but why on earth do you show the completed projects and how they did at the end of the last show begining of the present one and allthrough it .It is like showing all the goals of a football match in the titles first.
