The Times called it an 'audacious success', Metro wrote 'School of Comedy is laugh-out-loud funny'; and the Daily Star Sunday hailed '...the incredible child actors of School of Comedy'.
Heralded by the press when it first aired on E4 in the autumn of 2009, School of Comedy, the unique sketch show in which adolescent comedic actors take on the world of adults, comes soon to Channel 4. The comedy troupe performed in Edinburgh in 2007 and 2008 to critical acclaim.
Starring Will Poulter (Son of Rambow), Jack Harries and a host of rising stars, the sketches feature a wide range of characters including an extremely rude landlady, a cross-dressing eastern European plumber, white van men, an eccentric estate agent, a sexually repressed couple from the 1930s and some hapless South African security guards.
