Gene Simmons takes Deputy Headmistress Mary Ireland to LA as his date for the American Music Awards. While he's away, the five-strong band struggle to write and learn a song, and there are tears from Josh when the rest of the group turn on him for failing to keep time.
Gene returns and the children's parents are invited to the school to hear the band perform for the very first time in front of an audience. Can they shake off their classical roots and adopt the style of real-life rockers?
