Advertising executive Jo Saisi, his wife Gemma and mother-in-law Jenni have had enough of the city. They've decided to leave their friends and family behind and take a giant leap into the unknown, to a business on the Dorset coast. They're gambling everything they own and taking on huge amounts of debt, investing over one and a quarter million pounds in a neglected hotel that's little more than a crumbling shell and is in need of much more than a makeover.
It's not long before huge renovation costs and a crippling staff wage bill threaten to turn the boutique hotel fantasy into a Fawlty Towers nightmare. Patience wears thin as the size of the project and their lack of experience leaves them struggling to keep their heads above water. Martin comes up with an ingenious stunt and invaluable tips, but can he stop this ship from sinking?
