Nine years on, another Morley child has gone missing on her way home from school.

Detective Chief Superintendent Maurice Jobson is forced to remember the very similar disappearance of Clare Kemplay, who was found dead in 1974, and the subsequent imprisonment of local boy Michael Myshkin.

Washed-up local solicitor John Piggott becomes convinced of Myshkin's innocence and begins to fight on his behalf, unwittingly providing a catalyst for Jobson to start to right some wrongs.

  1. One of the best pieces of TY drama I have ever come across. Dark, gritty, real. Loved every moment. Really felt like I had been transported to dreary Yorkshire three decades ago. Brilliant!

  2. I only joined 2 watch the series on TV 4 the 1st time 2day - monday 21st September & unfortunately began from 10.30 pm throught to the end so I missed the beginning and so some of the plot - I had 2 piece the rest 2gether myself & was unable to catch 4 1 later as my partner was watching somethin else & we dont hav the extra channels or r able 2 record stuff! We also dont hav On Demand anymore either so I tried here on my laptop but only accessed clips & not as much detail of the storyline & clips available to rekindle what I missed & recapture the drama. Any other way of viewing on-line without signing up with BT on-vision & paying 2 watch it live over the internet or can I get the full story/plot anywhere in script/analogue etc.? Would be grateful & thought it was very gripping, tho shocking - hardhitting & chilling in parts. It makes me shudder to think that there really are people out there experiencing horrors like those depicted as I speak today!I think it's a good thing that this kind of evil is brought b4 us 2 open our eyes to the plights of some others as a humbling experience of sorts.
