  1. I've only just managed to watch the first episode on the Sky player, and I was shocked how good this was. I can't wait to watch the next two episodes. Channel 4 this is top draw.

  2. The best thing I have seen on TV in a very, very long time. Reaffirms my faith in British filmakers. Like the script, set and costumes, Andrew Garfield, David Morissey and Mark Addy were simply outstanding. I missed this the first time round so I am to glad to have found this gem on C4 on demand. More like this please!

  3. Only started watching this because I fancied Andrew Garfield, but so glad I did; The best thing I've seen on TV since Queer As Folk. Absolutely enthralling viewing. A real must see.

  4. Watched Episode 3 1980 for the first time and loved the music Piggott played. Think it's Northern Soul. Especially loved the female vocalist, but no music credits at the end so I'm stumped.Does anyone know where I can get a list of the music used?

  6. Stunning ! thought provoking not least a look at the 70 - 80's ... Well directed and the standard of acting was higher than the Alps ! deep, dark and un-forgiving. hitched like a good book ... bring it on Toni im sure there is more ...

  7. I can't begin to say how good the trilogy was, compulsive, grown up television, only hope it wasn't completely true to life, God help us all if it was/is... my question now is this: what was the haunting chamber piece played at the end of the third and final play as it faded/ Can't track it on Google or Shazam, any info gratefully received. Again, stunning programme, keep making brave, questioning stuff please.
